About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Developer with a strong generalist profile and hands-on experience in Dell Boomi, who can lead the modernization of legacy systems including batch jobs, scripts, and ERP integrations by migrating them into Boomi-based architectures. The ideal candidate will be a problem-solver with solid expertise in .NET, SQL, PowerShell, API integrations, and data transformation workflows, capable of working with both legacy codebases and modern cloud integration platforms.

Key Responsibilities

Integration Development & Migration

• Design, develop, and deploy integration solutions using Dell Boomi, connecting internal systems (e.g., ERP, Workday, Oracle) with third-party platforms to support secure, reliable, and scalable data exchange
• Migrate legacy scripts, batch jobs, and ERP integrations to Boomi, ensuring robust data synchronization, transformation, and validation for both real-time and batch processing
• Extend and modernize .NET and Classic ASP applications as part of integration modernization efforts

API & Database Integration

• Integrate with internal and external APIs using SOAP and REST, including configuration of authentication and data payload management
• Perform database operations and complex SQL queries (joins, filters, aggregations), and support Boomi integrations with SQL databases and BigQuery
• Create and maintain PowerShell scripts for job automation, credential management, and potential UI testing use cases

Collaboration & Optimization

• Collaborate with stakeholders, including system architects, business analysts, and developers, to gather integration requirements, align on architecture, and ensure solutions meet business needs
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize integration workflows and performance, resolving issues proactively to ensure system uptime and data accuracy
• Maintain thorough documentation and version control for all integration logic, mappings, and deployments

Continuous Improvement

• Stay current with Boomi platform updates, features, and integration best practices, while mentoring peers and promoting continuous improvement within the integration team

Required Skills & Experience

Experience Requirements

• Minimum 7+ years in software development
• Minimum 6+ years of hands-on experience with Boomi Integration Platform
• Minimum 6+ years of .NET development experience

Must Have

• Boomi Integration Platform - hands-on experience with connectors, data transformations, and database integration
• .NET Development - strong mid-to-senior level experience, including MVC or Web Forms
• SQL - advanced queries including joins and performance considerations
• API Integration - both SOAP and REST, including authentication strategies
• PowerShell - including credential management and potential UI automation
• JSON & XML - for transformation and integration within Boomi and .NET systems

Should Have

• Classic ASP and ASP.NET experience
• ERP Systems experience, especially Workday
• BigQuery - capable of basic-to-intermediate usage, including data ingestion and clustering concepts

Nice to Have

• Python - scripting for data manipulation or support tooling
• Cloud Storage/Services:
  • Azure (platform knowledge or past deployments)
  • AWS S3 buckets (for file transfer/storage integrations)

Soft Skills & Approach

• Strong troubleshooting and debugging mindset
• Comfortable documenting solutions either incrementally or post-delivery, as appropriate to the task
• Able to work independently while collaborating cross-functionally across teams
• Adaptable and resourceful in both modern and legacy code environments

English Language Requirement

Minimum Level: C1 Advanced
