Textback.ai is a fast-growing company specializing in SMS and Voice marketing solutions, primarily serving high-volume marketing clients, iGaming companies, and affiliate marketers. We are expanding rapidly and looking for a strategic Sales Director who will lead our sales team to new heights, drive our business growth, and explore new market opportunities. 

Role Overview 

As the Sales Director, you will be instrumental in optimizing our current business operations, expanding our sales team, and driving revenue growth. You’ll work closely with the executive team to implement sales strategies that align with Textback.ai’s goals and help us explore new market segments beyond affiliate marketing. 

Key Responsibilities 

1. Enhance Current Business Operations 

• Lead, mentor, and optimize the existing sales team to achieve high performance, particularly in acquiring high-volume marketing companies and iGaming clients.
• Drive the team to meet and exceed revenue, margin, and profitability targets, with a focus on maximizing performance and refining sales strategies. 

2. Team Expansion and Development 

• Strategically scale the sales team from 4 to 40 members, recruiting, training, and supporting top talent to build a high-performing sales force. 
• Develop specialized teams, including Hunter and Key Account Manager teams, to drive client acquisition and manage relationships. 
• Innovate cost-effective outbound sales solutions using Textback.ai’s outbound dialling capabilities. Previous trials have achieved demo costs as low as $30 using random B2B data in the US. 

3. Explore New Market Opportunities 

• Research and penetrate new markets beyond the affiliate marketing space, identifying product-market fit for Textback.ai’s offerings within the first 12 months. 
• Leverage Textback.ai’s capabilities to attract a broader client base and establish a strong brand presence in new sectors.

4. Business Development and Growth 

• Lead business development initiatives that align with the company’s overall growth strategy, expanding our reach and securing new opportunities. 
• Focus on growing the current business while pursuing additional market opportunities to drive long-term sustainability. 

5. Performance Metrics and KPIs 

• Develop, implement, and monitor KPIs for the sales team, using data-driven insights to refine sales strategies. 
• Focus on maintaining and improving the profitability of existing business models while ensuring continuous improvement in team performance. 

Qualifications 

• Overall, minimum 4 years of experience as a Sales Leader, Head of Sales, 
CSO, VP of Sales or similar position
• Minimum 2 years of experience in the SMS/Voice Marketing industry
• Proven leadership experience managing and expanding sales teams. 
• He has demonstrated success as a top performer in previous sales roles.
• Current salary level of at least $80,000/year, with a base salary offer of $100,000 plus a performance bonus of up to $100,000. 
• Ability to work effectively in a fully remote environment and lead a distributed team.

Preferred 

• Interest in equity participation as a long-term investment in the company’s growth. 
• Experience in building outbound sales channels and innovating cost-effective sales solutions. 

Additional Requirements 

• Reference Checks: As part of the hiring process, references will be checked to verify the candidate’s experience and track record. 
• Case Tests: Selected candidates will participate in case tests to assess their strategic thinking, planning, and problem-solving abilities related to the responsibilities of the Sales Director role.
