Founding Sales
We are looking for a Founding Sales hire with 4-8 years of experience to own the full sales cycle and lay the foundation for a sales organization that scales with us. The ideal candidate is a charismatic, top-performing Account Executive who has a track record of closing six-figure deals, has experience at a startup, and is energized by building from scratch.
What will you be doing?
- Own the full sales cycle from prospecting and discovery to negotiation and closing deals with banks, fintechs, and crypto companies.
- Build the sales playbook from the ground up, defining the sales motion and processes.
- Work with the GTM team to build a predictable, data-driven pipeline.
- Partner with the CEO on pricing, packaging, and competitive positioning.
- Eventually, hire and coach the first AEs to build out the sales organization.
Work experience(must)
4 - 8 years of experience in in B2B SaaS sales at early-stage startups, including at least 2+ years as a closing Account Executive owning full-cycle enterprise deals.
Experience selling at an early-stage startup (Seed–Series B) where the candidate helped build pipeline and operate without a mature sales playbook.
Consistently exceeded quota or ranked as a top sales performer. Recruiters should look for clear indicators such as quota attainment %, President’s Club, or top rep rankings.
Has closed complex enterprise deals around $100K+ ACV, ideally involving multi-stakeholder buying committees (legal, compliance, procurement).
Owned the full sales cycle, from prospecting to close.
Nice to have
Experience selling to banks, fintechs, crypto companies, or regulated financial institutions is helpful but not required.San Francisco
