You'll be the first sales hire working directly with the CEO in a company that's never lost a competitive deal. They're beating Series B competitors in every RFP and scaling from $1M to $10M revenue with massive growth potential.
This is a full-cycle GTM role handling deals around $50K with 100-200K base plus 50% commission structure. You'll build the entire sales org from scratch with clear path to CRO as they scale.
We are looking for a Go-to-Market hire with around 5 years of experience, including 2-3 years as an Account Executive, to join our early-stage team. We need a charismatic and strategic individual who has seen a company grow from 0 to 10 and can handle the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing. This person will be instrumental in building our sales organization and finding the 10x plays that will accelerate our growth.
What will you be doing?
- Owning the entire sales process from prospecting and outbound to pilots and production.
- Thinking outside the box to develop innovative marketing and sales strategies.
- Attending conferences and representing Sphinx to potential clients.
- Building the foundation of the sales organization alongside the CEO.
- Working hard and doing uncomfortable things to find and execute on 10x growth opportunities.
Work experience
- Experience at a 0 to 10 high-growth startup.
- 5 years of experience, including 2-3 years as an Account Executive
- Experience with the full sales cycle, from prospecting to close.
- Proficient in outbound prospecting and building a sales pipeline.
- Must work on-site in San Francisco.
