Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated Staff AI Engineer to join our team. You will lead the development of AI-driven software solutions that tackle complex challenges, contributing to next-generation software-defined vehicles. This role requires deep technical expertise, creativity, and a customer-first mindset.
Responsibilities:

Lead development of AI-powered software solutions to address complex business and technical challenges.

Apply domain expertise in AI, including RAG-based systems, agentic frameworks, LLMs, data engineering, evaluation, and more.

Build proof-of-concept solutions and lead initiatives on visionary ideas, preferably with start-up or smaller company experience.

Conduct full-cycle AI/ML development: data modeling, algorithm design, training, tuning, validation, deployment, and service maintenance.

Analyze data to derive actionable insights and inform cross-domain business decisions.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate customer requirements into effective AI solutions.

Document and communicate architecture, design, and interfaces to peers and stakeholders.
Qualifications:

6–20 years of experience as an AI/ML engineer in an AI/ML-driven company.

Experience building RAG-based systems, agentic frameworks, and fine-tuned LLMs at staff or senior staff level.

Degree in Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, or other STEM subject from a top 30 university.

Strong technical fundamentals in Python, with experience in TensorFlow or PyTorch.

Experience with hardware optimization and inference, computer vision, time series analysis, and ML model selection is a plus.

Genuine excitement about start-ups and willingness to learn about the automotive industry.
