About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Data Engineer with strong expertise in Snowflake, Airflow, Python, and SQL, complemented by proven experience in data visualization using Tableau.

You will play a critical role in building scalable data solutions, enabling analytics, and empowering stakeholders to make data-driven decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using Airflow and Python

• Develop and optimize SQL queries and workflows in Snowflake

• Collaborate with product, data science, and business teams to define data requirements and deliver actionable solutions

• Create intuitive dashboards and reports in Tableau to communicate insights to non-technical stakeholders

• Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and accessibility across data pipelines and platforms

• Participate in sprint planning, code reviews, and architectural discussions in a remote, agile environment

• Gather requirements from stakeholders and translate them into technical specifications

Requirements

• 6+ years of professional experience in data engineering or analytics engineering

• Proven expertise with Snowflake (data modeling, performance tuning, security)

• Strong proficiency in Python for data processing and automation

• Hands-on experience with Apache Airflow for workflow orchestration

• Advanced SQL skills, including query optimization and data transformations

• Proficiency in building data visualizations with Tableau

• Background in healthcare technology, software services, or analytics platforms

• Strong communication skills and ability to work with multidisciplinary stakeholders

• Comfortable working independently and delivering in remote-first environments

• English level: C1 Advanced

Nice to Have

• Experience with pharmacy benefit management (PBM) data or healthcare cost structures

• Familiarity with HIPAA or healthcare data compliance standards

• Previous involvement in data engineering initiatives at scale
